@PatrickDelaney In my defense, I thought most people would blatantly know the difference between Manifold's Ancient Markets and literal Ancient Markets and I thought the benefit of the joke would outweigh the negatives of people accidentally trading. Also, Ancient stuff is interesting, we don't have to talk about AI all the time. But if this is sincerely immature to the point where it's horrible, then I will stop.

I find your comments/ads to be well intentioned, and where your behavior could be interpreted as mean it is prompted by trolling. Nevertheless, feeding the trolls (through "counterspamming", engaging in conversation, etc) is a defecting act which shows a lack of maturity (don't feed them! Just report and move on!).

@RobertCousineau I will say that your comments about feeding the trolls has definitely made an impact on me, I have thought about that in the last couple of months, so thanks for that. By the way, BTE are friends/acquaintances now, having connected by a video call after having met on Manifold. However I would like to hope that I would treat anyone else the same on Manifold. I also compensated him by email with a manalink for basically shooting him down 100% as I did with you, which I have also done in the past for others who have helped better define subjective markets early on.
