This question resolves to YES if Joe Biden explicitly condemns the actions of Israel or the IDF in Gaza before the end of 2024. This must include criticism for the choices of the Israeli government or military. Calling for peace or a ceasefire alone will not count.

This sounds like a criticism of a choice made by the IDF: https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/04/02/world/israel-hamas-war-gaza-news/biden-denounces-killing-of-aid-workers-saying-israel-has-not-done-enough-to-protect-civilians?smid=url-share
@JonahWeissman Sure seems like it to me, the article even uses this exact wording: “President Biden on Tuesday strongly condemned the killing of seven humanitarian aid workers in a strike by Israeli forces.”
I think this counts?
Biden said "I’m of the view, as you know, that the conduct of the response in Gaza, in the Gaza Strip, has been over the top" and "There are a lot of innocent people who are starving. There are a lot of innocent people who are in trouble and dying. And it’s got to stop."
@WrongoPhD It looks like the creator is very inactive anyway, so I don't know if we'll get a ruling on this. The criteria are pretty vague.
How does this resolve if a single action is condemned, but overall Biden continues to support the war in gaza? For instance, does this resolve yes if Biden were to say, "I condemn Israel for using drones to hunt down and execute journalists and the families of journalists, but Israel does have a right to protect itself and the US stands behind it."
@WrongoPhD I would consider it a condemnation if worded like that, as this question is primarily about the willingness to openly and directly criticize any of their actions. If he said something along the lines of “I’m sad to see the amount of civilian deaths in Gaza.” without placing fault, then I don’t think that should count.
