This market resolves Yes if and only if a video game called Half-Life 3 is announced during this year's The Game Awards. The announcement must be of HL3, not just any Half-Life universe product, and it must occur within the run of show, not in a separate stream. That said, the stream is allowed to go overtime, throw to a remote location, or do any other production tomfoolery as part of the announcement and still have it count.

well I accidentally posted a comment and I do not know how to delete it so
@MyDreamIsHere2018 Is that a statement or a question?
At the worst, we just edit our comments, but you can always see a comment's edit history by tapping the "(edited)" in a comment banner.
@Robincvgr I dunno. If a Pizza Hut commercial played directly after a HL3 announcement, that commercial would be swept up into the history books with that moment.
@CornCasting Hello it is you from the future. I looked it up and he hasn't said if it will be announced before or after but has recently said the date he has been given is still ahead of us not behind us.
@Robincvgr It actually wouldn't be that surprising to me if Mike Straw is lying about it not being at TGA. If he knows it will be at TGA and he also knows he cannot reveal this information without compromising his source as it will reveal the date definitively he has 2 options:
1) Say he is sure it wont be at TGA (i.e. lie, he cannot be sure). It gets announced at TGA and everyone is cumming in their pants with joy so much nobody will give 2 shits he lied.
2) Say he is unsure or that his source says maybe but it should be another date or whatever (sorta also lie, but not really explicitly since he is unsure) and it becomes the HL fandom inquisition interrogating your ass 24/7.
I know which of those 2 options I would take if I were a smart insider video game journalist type human
