What if it's not called Half Life 3? Can we add resolution criteria about the game continuing the story and being called a AAA game by major video game news outlets?

@Samaritan IMHO would resolve no, for example we already had HL: Alyx

@TimothyBandors HL Alyx wasn't a continuation of the story. I'm thinking "subtitle rebranding" or generally abandoning numeric titling but still completing the story.

@Samaritan I'm pretty sure the ending did continue the story, if only a little.

@TimothyBandors how about it completes the story? The game can be branded somewhere in valve's marketing as "the final chapter" or something like that.

Otherwise this is a market about not just the release of Half Life 3, but also what it will be named. I think 80%+ it'll be called half life 3, but would like to cover edge cases before betting

@Samaritan I don't expect HL3 to complete the story either, though.
