As opposed to mobilized personnel, conscripts are young men doing their military training as part of a regular draft. Until now, Russian conscripts were not employed systematically in the war effort. There were some early reports of conscripts on the frontlines in February/March 2022, but their participation was quickly called a mistake by the authorities, and they were pulled out.

This question resolves "Yes" if large numbers of conscripts are deployed on the battlefield in Ukraine during 2023, either officially or according to media consensus. This includes the four territories annexed in 2022, but not Crimea.

UPD: Changed closing date to the end of January 2024 in order to have time for possible media reports etc. to surface. The resolution criteria remain unchanged and are still about 2023.
