The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) released today their partial provisional and final tallies for 2024's foreign visitors totals, and they were no surprised to anybody living here.

The number of foreign visitors to Japan in 2024 smashed the previous record, set in 2019, by several million. The press release can be seen here.

Will the number of foreign visitors reach another all-time high in 2025?
