I've met her once during interviews, she seemed fine, we're hiring her as a postdoc so she's probably a reasonable person. She needed a place to stay for a while before her long-term lease starts, and it happened to be while I was going to be away on vacation so I said she could stay in my apartment (and am only charging her 2x the utilities-I-would't-otherwise-be-paying). Possible reasons for regret: - she breaks my microwave or spills food on my couch or something - my landlord is unhappy about this (it's technically against the lease, but I would be shocked if anyone noticed, I almost never interact with anyone from management) - other things I'm not thinking of because I've never done this before?
