I was just wrong here.

This should resolve to no. There are multiple Apple devices (also “main“ ones, by any definition), which are and have been portless. (The Apple Watch losing its diagnostic port being the big one). Apple Vision Pro could be argued as well.

The Apple Watch is already portless, shouldn’t this market resolve No?

@TomCohen Good point! It even lost the hidden diagnostic port in 2021!

Also, the original HomePod had no user-accessible ports, but it too had a factory testing port glued under the touch panel.

Seems like that would be a violation of Europe law, no?

@BTE No! This law only applies to certain devices. Not to e.g. wearables.
