The man stole customer funds to cover his trading losses (after years of borderline illegal self-dealing) and your conclusion is he’s a “scapegoat” 🤔

Possible that having no moral foundations besides “do what I think is good, because I think it’s good” has something to do with the problem.

Kill a person to steal their organs, steal 6B to save some cows and fund think tanks, these are not coincidences.

Basically Nietzscheanism without the redeeming vision of the good. And Ayn Randianism without valuing whatever those people value.

Perhaps a morality that isn’t a morality at all—just “I made up some math without any knowledge about history, and weighted every variable toward whatever I’m into” is the lowest morality of all.

Say what you will about natural rights philosophy, Christianity, communism, at least they’re an ethos.
