Francesca Gino, a Harvard professor, has filed a defamation lawsuit in Massachusetts against Harvard, three researchers from the Data Colada group, and a few other defendants. The case is Gino v. President and Fellows of Harvard College (1:23-cv-11775).
The resolution of this question seeks to determine if any of the Data Colada defendants will settle with Gino out of court, according to reliable media sources, before 2026, and before a trial verdict is reached. My understanding is that a plaintiff might settle with one defendant but not others, meaning that this could happen even if the case goes to trial with other defendants.

@Natalia Looks like this can resolve NO? The judge dismissed all charges against Data Colada members, and thus there cannot be a settlement
@Natalia if appealed it would be a new case I think? I would resolve NO and re-resolve if they settled in the linked case only, somehow (which I don't think can legally happen now but I'm a hardware engineer, what do I know).
@Natalia yeah my understanding is that if it appealed, it would be a new case. and if that tursn out to be wrong, you can always have the mods unresolve it. but ultimately, it's up to you!
