Assume you somehow come into the infallible knowledge that all sentience in the universe aside from your own is actually just an illusion. You now know that everyone you interact with on a daily basis is a philosophical zombie, i.e. an automaton with no inner mental life underlying their seemingly sentient behaviour. Does this revelation cause you a significant amount of distress (by your own evaluation)?
