Background info:
We've been having a lot of internet outages at our new place, starting with a 30+ hour one at the end of June. I think the outages have been getting better with regard to frequency and duration, but they're still relatively frequent. [Frequent enough that we had a one-hour outage while I was writing this question.]
Streams this month that I have record of being affected:
July 3, July 7
July 21
We don't generally do long streams; we schedule 2 hours on weekdays and 4 hours on Sunday. We're in the Seattle metropolitan area and Centurylink is our Internet provider.
Resolution:
YES if any of the streams scheduled for July 23–28 are ended by an Internet outage. (Even if the stream was running longer than scheduled.)
YES if any of those scheduled streams are cancelled due to Internet being out at stream start time.
NO if all streams happen as scheduled.
NO if all deviations from schedule are for non-Internet-outage reasons.
NO if Internet outages happen but they do not end or cancel streams (e.g. stream is interrupted by an outage lasting only a couple of minutes)
Monday stream complete without incident.
(Though oddly Centurylink seems to think we are still down from a previous occasion and that we will not be back online till midday tomorrow...)
Regardless of what that might mean for our service, Tuesday stream is already set to be cancelled for non-Internet reasons (partner has an appointment) so y'all get that one for free.
