Resolving NO preserves the integrity of the market by avoiding a baseless or arbitrary YES, keeping outcomes meaningful and credible.

@Mrdudeguy Ever felt tired of being told by others what’s good and what’s bad?

Making this market interesting could be a legit non-arbitrary reason for resolving Yes, no?

@vdb Not really. "Making it interesting" is purely subjective and doesn’t change the factual or logical basis of the market’s outcome, so it’s still arbitrary to resolve YES for that reason.

@khang2009 If Mrdudeguy decides to resolve Yes to make this market more interesting, that's for a reason, right? Not sure why you think it is arbitrary.

I'm also not sure why he cannot use a subjective judgement to make a decision. Isn't this market about his subjective judgements for whether he is convinced?

Regarding "logical basis of the market’s outcome", if he judges that resolving Yes would make the market interesting, and decides to do so, that's pretty logical, right? There is a reason, and there is a consequence that follows from that reason in a pretty logical way.

What a boring market so far! Don't you want to save it by resolving Yes?

@vdb If you're the only commenter I probably will. Will make it more interesting.

@Mrdudeguy I don't plan on being this lenialent but it would be funny if the first comment convinced me yes
