Resolution Criteria
A contestant resolves as a winning contestant if they are a Traitor by eliminating all Faithful or reaching the end, or as a Faithful by identifying and banishing all Traitors. Multiple contestants can win, but both a Traitor and a Faithful cannot simultaneously win. The season finale airs on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Resolution will be determined by the final bonfire episode aired on Peacock, where if any Faithful are left standing, they'll claim the prize pot, or if a Traitor survives to the end. Multiple contestants may resolve yes if they are among the final winners.
Background
The 23 players compete at a Scottish castle on surprise missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000, with typically three to four players secretly selected as Traitors while the rest remain Faithful. In the first episode, host Alan Cumming revealed that one contestant would be selected as a "Secret Traitor", whose identity would be hidden from both the audience and the regular Traitors. The Traitors murder the Faithful one by one under cover of darkness, while the Faithful try to uncloak the Traitors and banish them during round tables.
Considerations
Because the format can produce multiple winners, odds often account for several potential outcomes rather than a single clear favorite. The presence of a Secret Traitor adds an additional layer of complexity to the game dynamics this season.
