• YES if the Presupuestos Generales del Estado 2026 (General State Budget 2026) is published in the Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE, https://www.boe.es/) before 23:59 CET December 31, 2025

• NO if the budget is not published in the BOE by that date. This includes cases where the proposal is rejected, delayed, withdrawn, or not presented at all, leading to an extension of the previous year’s budget.

Background Information:
Spain’s General State Budget (PGE) must be presented annually by the government and approved by Parliament before the start of the fiscal year. If not approved in time, the previous year’s budget is automatically extended.
