Will Kristi Noem speak on stage at the 2024 Republican National Convention?

The market will close at midnight ET on the last day of the 2024 Republican National Convention. If the convention dates change, then the close date will adjust accordingly. The market will be resolved the following day.

Noem must physically be on stage and speak to the convention. The speech doesn't need to be of any length; uttering a single syllable will count.

Interviews with the press do not count. Video footage of Noem or a videotaped message do not count. Noem attending as a delegate, or speaking from the convention floor as a delegate, do not count.

The market will resolve YES upon footage of Noem speaking on stage at the convention. Media reports of Noem speaking on stage, with or without any visual evidence, would make the market resolve YES. If Noem makes an impromptu or unauthorized speech from the stage, the market resolve YES.

If there are any changes to the format of the convention (i.e., as with the pandemic in 2020) or Noem makes an non-traditional speech off stage (i.e., Liddy Dole's "Oprah speech" in 1996) then the market creator will use best judgement to resolve.

This market will not resolve as a percentage under any circumstances. The market creator will not trade in this market.
