Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to Yes if U.S. Representative Haley Stevens delivers an official speech or address from the main stage or podium at the 2028 Republican National Convention (RNC).
This market will resolve to No if the 2028 RNC concludes and Haley Stevens has not spoken on the official convention stage.
Brief off-stage press remarks, panel discussions outside the main convention program, or recorded third-party videos shown without an active speaking billing do not qualify.
The outcome will be determined by the official RNC speaker schedule, video broadcasts (such as C-SPAN), and verified reporting from major news outlets.
Background
Haley Stevens is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Michigan's 11th congressional district. Cross-party speaking slots at national political conventions occasionally occur—such as former Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger addressing the 2024 Democratic National Convention or former Democratic Senator Zell Miller addressing the 2004 Republican National Convention—though they remain rare.
