My employer's parent company, BoxOne, has offered to provide a venue for a prediction market trading bot hackathon, and line up accommodation for people who want to travel in from out of town (we're in Montreal, Canada). Scheduled for late March or mid-April (will update description with exact date shortly).

But "Prediction Market Trading Bot Hackathon" is a mouthful. How can I distill the concept down to fewer words?

It's not a prediction market hackathon because we're not building prediction markets, we're trading on them, it's not a prediction hackathon because we're not predicting, it's not an quantitative trading hackathon because it's about prediction markets in particular.

Resolves to whatever name I put on the Facebook event/discord server in a week.

Who won the Betbot Battle by BoxOne?

Extending close date because we still haven't ironed out all the details and none of your suggestions have been slam dunks.

Is it competitive or collaborative? I can imagine a contest about which team builds the best bot. It could also be a friendly exchange of ideas.

@marktwse Competitive but you can form teams.
