Resolution criteria:
- The sanctions only need to be announced and do not have to kick in yet.
- Must be by at least one country announcing.
- Reported in 2 major news sources.
- The announced sanction must not have been active at the time of Iran's missile strikes on Israel.
- The sanction must be specific. Not a general announcement of 'sanctions'.
- Sanctions must aim to have a significant effect (an example of 'not significant' would be travel/financial sanctions on specific Iranian individuals. An example of 'significant' would be a sanction that has monetary effects in the billions and hinders trade. Sanctions don't need to be limited to these examples and in a case of doubt, would be resolved by a poll.
