Sabalenka 😳

opened a Ṁ50 YES at 28% order

@Jessef0226 absolutely wild redlining from schnaider right now. this is 10 out of 11 games won since she was down a double break in the second?

bought Ṁ250 NO

@polymathematic 11 of 12!

bought Ṁ250 NO

@polymathematic that was wild, 60%+ odds to win the tournament to out in less than 50 mins

@polymathematic Tim since I'm filling your second limit order today (the first one was on Rafael Jodar in men's section), kind of feel obliged to say that I genuinely think that those limit orders are SUCH a dangerous and questionable thing. Firstly, Svitolina is 11% right now at Poly/Kalshi, and you have your order at 14%. Secondly (and maybe more importantly), you've made your order, like, 14 hours ago, and, like, HOW many things could have happened in those 14 hours? Like, there were stories of athletes getting injured literally at press conferences, thus becoming unable to participate in the event (e.g. Tony Ferguson in 2018). So, yeah, feeling very conflicted about those limit orders..

sold Ṁ16 YES

@McLovin though I could get bitten by an unexpected injury, I’m very comfortable with svitolina at 14. Feel free to fill whatever’s there :)

@McLovin also, just a caution on following polymarket/kalshi. They had Iga at something like 25-30% for the tournament despite the fact that she didn’t win a single one of the clay swing tournaments, didn’t make a single final even, and her most likely path to the final would’ve been the toughest in the tournament. She could’ve had to go through kostyuk, svitolina, andreeva, and then sabalenka to win. Like Vegas, the most opportunity against poly/kalshi is in futures, since dumb money doesn’t do a very good job actually modeling the whole tournament.
