Leagues Season 2: June has begun, and that means it's time to place your bets on who will be top-5 in the Platinum Degenerate Witches cohort!
When Season 2 finalizes (sometime during July 1st) this market will resolve to the top-5 users according to the official finalized leagues ranking, 20% each.
Keep in mind that the official ranking might change drastically in the last 48 hours of the season, when people fight for the promotion/prizes the most.
This market will not penalize or disqualify profits manipulation, but it Will be re-resolved if the admins announce that they are rolling back some major profits and/or changing user's promotion status, which results in a different final official ranking. So be cautious betting on the users who are known for outstanding market manipulation.

Edit: ah oops, parimutuels, they resolve as a fraction, got it.
...Oh, they resolve at 20%, didn't notice that. Why is that?
@ScroogeMcDuck how else could it possibly resolve? you can see it’s always been so in the description. ºwhy is that?” i think many people just don’t bother to read
@deagol That's just me forgetting parimutuels were a thing, as opposed to having multiple answers that are Yes. Of course the description hasn't changed and I am not suggesting otherwise. Take it easy.
@ScroogeMcDuck 👍 sorry if that came out as somewhat strained. it’s just in so many of these markets there has been other comments complaining about not expecting the 20% resolution, and even for some without any comment you can still deduce the confusion exists from the bets alone. didn’t mean to lash at you personally (thus why i said “many people”). i’m taking it easy :)
@deagol All good.
Given Manifold encourages quick, easy bets while scrolling, and given this is a common confusion, then this sounds like a UI solution waiting to happen. The app could try making the parimutuel property more visible, so people don't mix them up with Yes/No multiple choice.
@ScroogeMcDuck maybe I’m wrong, but isn’t the new Y/N multiple choice mechanism also forcing all options to add up to 100%? The same 20% resolution would need to happen with the new system. Or can you actually resolve a set of more than 1 option to YES?
@deagol You are correct, they still force options to add to 100%. If you want to do independent multiple choice just make multiple single markets and link all the others in the description of each one.
