YES!!! India will have a larger population than China on December 31, 2023. This is due to the contrasting demographic trends: China's working-age population is expected to peak and decline, indicating a slowdown in population growth. India's number of working-age adults is projected to continue increasing through the mid-century. Additionally, Indiaโs younger population under age 25, while a smaller proportion compared to China, still constitutes a significant number that contributes to continued population growth. Therefore, these trends suggest India's overall population growth is outpacing China's.

@MarcusAbramovitch It's not really possible since China has acknowledged population decline. But I totally get it and assumed so.
@BTE I agree. There are other events though. Like India could face massive decline from a famine, catastrophic event (nuke, disease, etc.) that kills millions. I would like to highly discourage anyone from manipulating this market to cause such an event.
