Tracks the share of eligible OpenRouter top-50 token usage attributed to publishers headquartered in China, measured over the seven most recent complete, consecutive UTC days.

Index = 100 × Chinese-classified tokens ÷ all classified eligible tokens

Prompt and completion tokens are summed across all seven days before calculating the percentage. Classification normally follows the company represented by OpenRouter’s author slug and its principal place of business. Exact-model classifications may be used for anonymous or shared namespaces.

Unresolved publishers are excluded from both numerator and denominator. The feed continues when unresolved volume is no more than 1% of classified volume, but stops publishing above 1% until those publishers are reviewed. Classification changes take effect on the next hourly update and do not rewrite previously published oracle history.

This measures public traffic routed through OpenRouter—not total Chinese-model usage, global AI market share, revenue, or user location.
