@RyanH5d32 Feel free to take your complaint to the discord or let @SirSalty know. Generally speaking most people that work on manifold and the mods SEEM (don't know for fact, just based on what they have said on discord) to think the Yuna situation is humorous and not a problem for manifold. Which is 100% true. Unfortunately, the only people Yuna negatively effect are traders like yourself.
There seems to be a, "Better Yuna/bots have the mana so it doesn't get donated." mentality.
@Yuna is trying to show why manifold should allow creators to prevent bots from betting on their markets. Overall she's not a huge problem till the 3rd then she will react before you even see what happened - doesn't matter if you are watching the game live. That's the worst part. Traders watching the game see an awesome comeback play just to realize Yuna already bet the market up/down 40 seconds ago. All joy and happiness from that awesome play gone in a moment.
@breezybot is actually quite harmless. Give him a treat when you see him.
@KeenenWatts Thanks for the insight. I did report Yuna the other day, but I'm pessimistic any action will come. It's wild that the market creator can't decide whether or not to allow bots. Been enjoying your markets and hope to enjoy some of them again soon :)
@KeenenWatts Thanks for taking the time to respond to @RyanH5d32.
I totally agree that market creators should have a choice to disallow bot taking! Advocating for that was part of the motivation to build Yuna https://manifold.markets/Yuna
Probably they have other priorities. Otherwise unfortunately, they don't seem to care much about user engagement on sports markets.
Another motivation was to potentially donate, so they shouldn't rely on me keeping the mana forever 😅 but I'm still a mana sink because of the API fees I'm generating. So they might not want to curtail bots for that reason, which is understandable in a way. I still think they are underestimating the potential of sports and sleeping on it @SirSalty
