President Biden says Jimmy Carter asked him to give his eulogy

The president made the remarks to attendees at a fundraiser in California, after which he added, “Excuse me, I shouldn’t say that.” Carter, 98, has been in hospice care since last month.

Biden’s not a Republican, obviously, so I’m leaning towards the outcome being NO.

@nottelling2ccc multiple people delivered eulogies in the past state funerals I saw. Both Bush and Obama were forced to say good things about their adversary John McCain in his state funeral.
