Lots of choices of more-or-less equal quality makes it hard to pick a likely winner.

The duration of the market was too long (was 1 month in the beginning).
The market below I put work in and subsidized didn't have as much participation as I hoped. What could be the reasons for that? Resolution: I will resolve based on what I believe the reasons are on market close. Market in question: https://manifold.markets/MM/which-photos-will-i-have-edited-and

@MM Haha, imagine switching back and forth on mobile.
Thanks everyone for the feedback. Maybe it was not only useful for me. Expect the new improved market to pick my profile picture (only 3 options!) as soon as the photographer is done editing!
Yup, they all seemed pretty good to me
@MM As a stranger who bet on your market, I don't think this was an issue! One thing you did well was choosing a question that people who don't know you personally can still weigh in on.
@MM I'm guessing your photographer gave you lots of options, so narrowing them down to eight was a good call. Eight choices viewable on one page might been fine, but because bettors need to click back and forth between Imgur and Manifold, it's a little too much friction to remember which picture corresponds to which number.
@Alice I sometimes forget not everyone uses three monitors. :)
This might also extend to your (Martin’s) own activity on the site (like commenting, etc). I find my way to most markets either via clicking on peoples profiles through their comments, or through the “newest”/“sort by volume traded” filters
You are competing for mana and attention with someone considering taking drugs based on market odds, for example.
This is to subsidize the market, and will not be used in the resolution.
