Amazon MGM Studios has officially begun the casting process for Bond 26.

Producer Amy Pascal has said that it is a “good bet” that the next James Bond will be cast by the end of 2026.

RESOLUTION CRITERIA

This market resolves to the first actor officially announced by Amazon MGM Studios, the official James Bond channels, or the film’s authorised producers as the actor who will play James Bond in the next official James Bond feature film.

Rumours, auditions, negotiations, reported offers, anonymous sources or comments made by the actors themselves will not count as an official announcement.

If the officially announced actor is not individually listed, the market resolves to “Other actor”.

If no actor has been officially announced by December 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC, the market resolves to “No official announcement by the deadline”.

If an actor is officially announced and is later replaced, this market will still resolve to the first officially announced actor.

The market may resolve early immediately following a qualifying official announcement.
