Following a news report from Der Spiegel, Lindner is currently under investigation for potentially illegally accepting an advantage. Concretely, he is alledged to have gotten favorable conditions for a loan in return for a video message shown at an event by the bank BBBank.
If the allegations turn out to be true, he will likely be forced to step down from this office.
This market resolves as NO if Christian Lindner at any point in 2023 stops being finance minister, for any reason.
