Pick whichever you think is most likely. In the case that more than one happens I will resolve to whichever one is responsible for the majority of the lines that otherwise would have been voiced by Justin Roiland, UNLESS it turns out that by resolution time, Manifold will let me pick more than one option as the answer, then I will pick all options that turn out to be true.

Voice actors Harry Belden and Ian Cardoni make the new voices of Morty and Rick respectively in Season 7. This can resolve.

TL;DR: there are two new voice actors, they sound similar to the original voices, but the network is not revealing who the actors are until the episode airs. So I guess there’s technically a possibility that the network is using AI and is being coy about it, but I doubt it. Also, I’m assuming that if the actors’ voices are lightly enhanced by AI, that won’t count as generative AI, right?
@nottelling2ccc If there’s a person doing the voices and the actual lines, and it’s being post processed, that still counts as the actor saying the lines. We had auto tune before generative AI and other such tools after all
@ForrestTaylor Yes, my mistake. I don’t think it changes the argument though, even though it is multiple choice
@JimHays No? Why not? There's no danger of an Eeagles-like thing happening here. Maybe I'm misunderstanding ur argument
@ForrestTaylor Once the real answer is announced, the first mover bids up the correct answer, diluting the positions of the current holders of that position.
From the Manifold FAQ on Multiple Choice markets:
“Due to having a variable pay-out, it is important to make sure the market closes before definite resolution conditions are met. Otherwise, users will be able to react to news and reduce the profits of early bettors.”
@JimHays Oh, interesting, thank you. Luckily for me I'm good at being the first mover.
But I'll consider that in the future, I've only done one variable market before and I had it open throughout the event I was asking for the winner for. That was a lot of fun while it lasted but maybe I won't do that again.

@ForrestTaylor Should I just have this close sometime soon then in advance and then we wait for the news?
Seems really unlikely they go generative AI route. Setting aside the potential tech problems, this would be such a massive blow to voice actors - one of the most well known animated shows replacing there star with an AI - I doubt the team has the moral energy enough to take on the many detractors they would have.
@BenGoldhaber It's obviously a long shot for a lot of reasons. With any other show I wouldn't even consider it, but with one that is so unashamed of itself, I think might be a possibility. They also could very easily involve it in some kind of meta plot about robots controlling Rick and Morty which could be brilliant.

@ForrestTaylor It's a judgment call but if they're a) obviously trying to sound the same as the original voices, b) reasonably close, and c) able to fool someone who hasn't been paying super close attention, then in my subjective opinion that would count as "sound similar."
