@simoj touching the number "immediately" resolves to the corresponding side, even if I am online much later when somebody already sold their position. But there has to be a screenshot, so I don't have to parse the Trades feed.

I see it as democracy dumpfer. At start it is just a vote, but at some point newcomers and some holders see a mana incentive to vote the other way.
