Is the quote required or does just the broad self-comparison suffice? E.g. "I survived just like Teddy did, maybe even better, I'm the best at surviving, believe me"

Considering multiple president's or presidential candidates have survived assassination attempts any reference to The Bull Moose Party or Teddy Roosevelt himself or as another commenter perhaps even a failed attempt but clearly trying to parallel himself to that attempt would resolve as a yes.
