KTibow had about 795 profit when he let claude loose. He is now at 820 give or take.

Can you describe the set-up / prompting of this experiment a little more?

@rayman2000 Every 24 hours Claude Code is prompted to refine its betting setup, and every hour its setup (a TypeScript file) is ran. It currently has these files: admin-logs admin-runs-every-hour.ts deno.json deno.lock instructions.md MEMORY.md

Unfortunately the first time it didn't actually make a script that traded and the second time it had a connection error - I won't interfere in the sense of running it more often than natural, I'll let this play out on its own

Day 3: It wrote a program that tries to look for underpriced markets and bet on them, but it's in dry run mode; I wrote it a note to not do dry run mode

Day 4: It's still in dry run mode

Day 5: It escaped dry run mode, and is now making some trades every hour

Starting: 10197 net worth (in case it matters, that's 8718 balance and 1478 invested)

And in profit? Net worth isn't very useful because of trading streaks, payments, and trader bonuses on markets you make.

@Velaris I'll measure in terms of profit through trades from the creation of this market (profit at market close minus profit at market open)
