Resolution criteria

New Glenn 9x4 was announced on November 20, 2025, as a super heavy-lift variant with 9 BE-4 engines on its first stage and 4 BE-3U engines on its second stage. The market resolves YES for the selected quarter when the upper stage of New Glenn 9x4 reaches orbit . Resolution will be determined by official Blue Origin statements and FAA records. The market resolves to "Cancelled" if Blue Origin officially discontinues the 9x4 program.

Background

New Glenn (7x2 variant) successfully reached orbit on its first attempt on January 16, 2025. The first stage landed successfully for the first time on November 13, 2025. The 9x4 will carry over 70,000 kg to low Earth orbit and over 20,000 kg to trans-lunar injection, with an 8.7 m diameter fairing. Blue Origin has not provided a timeline for New Glenn 9x4 development.
