We know that Stewart is going to be hosting once a week, but who will host the other nights?
Previous guest hosts from 2023 can be found here.
An answer resolves yes if an episode airs before the US general election with that person hosting an episode of the Daily Show. Answers resolve no if the year ends without them hosting. Answers can also resolve no if a permanent host takes over the show and we expect that there will be no more guest hosts before the election.
@Joshua @ManifoldPolitics all remaining resolve NO. It’s Election Day
@shankypanky wikipedia’s got a full list of every episode and its host and Charlemagne does not appear.
Jon Stewart & Michael Kosta Host THE DAILY SHOW This Week (broadwayworld.com)
Biden Talks Ceasefire Over Ice Cream & CPAC's Panels Sound Insane | The Daily Show (youtube.com)
Kosta already hosted yesterday, can be resolved Yes.
@Joshua I assume we can re-add non-Stewart people after they come on? with 4 nights a week to fill I imagine there will be reappearances? or do you want to keep this to a one-and-done sort of market?
(Klepper is hosting for the remainder of the week so I guess it could get annoying to manage as you wouldn't want someone adding him every day and betting him up)
@shankypanky hmmm I hadn't planned on allowing duplicates, because I want to be able to just check Wikipedia and see if someone's name appeared, not how many times they appeared.
@Joshua also, I haven't had a chance to watch the ep yet but I'd consider running a Monday Market weekly prop bet for the eps Stewart hosts if it would be interesting to people? collecting submissions between Mondays could be fun based on whatever comes up throughout the week.
@Joshua okay - let's try one and see how it goes. I'll watch this week's episode soon. I'll DM you when I'm going to set it up.
@Joshua Canceled?!?
Hasan has been on the tonight show in the last month. Also, if you haven’t seen it, his response to The NYer article, it’s really compelling.
