Yesterday it was Feinstein's death. Today it was the unexpected aversion of a government shutdown. Is another shoe going to drop?
After market close I will evaluate all true options and choose the one I think was the biggest news. A story does not have to be as big as these last two big stories to resolve this market, but it does have to be something worth talking about.
If nothing at all interesting really happens then I will resolve to the answer I think was most entertaining. If I'm not sure which one was most entertaining, I'll set up a poll.
I will not bet in this market.

Speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union,” the Florida Republican said he intends to file a motion to vacate this week, which would force a vote on whether McCarthy will keep his job.
@Shump That investigation already started on Saturday: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/jamaal-bowman-pulled-fire-alarm-rcna118230
It started before the creation of this market and before the government shutdown CR was signed. So does it even count? Seems like it shouldn't count to me?
