Manifold is getting ready to fund some community projects. The full terms of that initiative are still being set, but I spotted a few great ideas in the draft:
I think all three of these ideas could be combined into a weekly live show in the Manifold Discord.
You could welcome new users, have experienced users on as hosts, and generally help build up a sense of community by having a time for everyone to get together and do Manifold simultaneously once a week. For anyone that can't make the live show, it would also be available in vod/podcast form after.
I feel like there's definitely interest in manifold content like this, especially with the two existing manifold podcasts not uploading very often. I'm thinking about putting together a proposal for something like this, but I'm curious what kind of show people think would be most interested in.
If no such show ends up happening by market close, I will resolve all options to N/A.
If a show does happen, I will resolve options in this market to YES if the show includes that segment more than once before market close. If there is a show and a segment does not occur more than once by market close, that option resolves NO.
A segment doesn't have to occur exactly as described in this market to resolve YES, anything in the same spirit as the option will count. I will not trade on this market.

Find a couple Manifold whales. Ask them each to pick a handful of markets in advance and write down probabilities and max bet amounts. Facilitate a large bet per the even odds method or similar.
Then talk about the market and the bet. Try to find a crux or two and a relevant second market to bet on. Write one if it doesn't exist. Get another bet.
