I made a film adaptation of William Hope Hodgson's 1908 book The House on the Borderland

as a way to test LLMs' abilities to make movies autonomously. They were not able to do it autonomously and the resulting film with my effort is still pretty mediocre. I also made a LessWrong post giving a quick overview of the failures.
