This question resolves yes if at any time before the end of 2024, there exists a quantitative trading firm or hedge fund with ≥$100m assets under management that gives ≥50% of its profits (company profits after all expenses, not trading profits) to longtermist causes or existential risk reduction.
50% of profits is insane, even hedge fund traders/PMs don't get that much pnl on a single strat (25% is considered the top, and if it's a prop shop and youre a senior trader then maybe it can go slightly above 50% but then again there are very few props w/ that much aum and this is is only one strat), the partners would have to decide to donate that much and to longtermist and nothing else -- aka not happening.
If the question asked about profits after paying employees or a raw number that a place like RenTec could easily solo then the question would be interesting, but imo this is clearly no.
