@Philliesdog. So far so good but the class is known as being extremely hard. I will be betting yes as motivation.

This will be taking into account post-curve grades and any grade that is A- or under will be resolved as No

Feel free to ask any specific questions!

  • Update 2025-10-28 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Current grades: @Philliesdog got 100, creator got 92 (1% under the A threshold). Market will remain open until regrade requests are returned. Resolution depends on whether regrade requests successfully raise the creator's grade to A threshold or above.

@traders Alright, I have the (potentially final) results. @Philliesdog got a 100 and I got a 92 (1% under the threshold 😭). However, Yes traders have ~some hope since I am sending desperate regrade requests to scrape the last percent. Trade as you wish. I will keep this market open until the requests come back

@Jolliest The professor said he would remove one question that was poorly worded, which should push me over if it does what I expect :)

@Jolliest 93.3%. This will resolve as Yes

Grades likely will be out tomorrow. I'm feeling pretty 50/50 about whether I made it to the A threshold but it should be close

@Jolliest @Philliesdog how was your midterm?

@HectorCanizales went pretty well, not completely graded but average is an 85% from the questions graded so far

Exam's in an hour. I'll let you all know how we feel after. The curve is pretty favorable but the content is hard so it could go either way

120 total earned points

grade is

f(earned points) = {100 if earned points >= 100

earned points / 100 otherwise}

I love you @HectorCanizales

@Philliesdog thanks, when is your exam?

@HectorCanizales October 18th

@Philliesdog how is it looking for your exam?

@Philliesdog I wish you the very best, Godspeed.

How much chatgpt based cheating have you been doing?

@NivlacM *A decent amount* for the more conceptual based topics like systems, UNIX, Linux, and CLI, but I haven't needed much help with the projects about Git and C. I plan on refreshing myself on those topics before the class gets too intense. I think @Philliesdog has been better though
