Don Bolduc, Republican Senate nominee in New Hampshire, has claimed that schools have allowed use of litter boxes to accommodate children who identify as cats.

Will NH Senate nominee Don Buldoc provide evidence supporting his claim of 'litter boxes in schools' by Nov 8th?

This question will resolve to YES if Don Bolduc (or his campaign) responds to me by end of day November 8, 2022 with details of at least one US public school where a litter box (either in a general use 'public restroom' or in a private setting) has been allowed in a public school building to accommodate a student who identifies as a cat. This includes any accommodation by a school employee of use of a litter box, regardless as to whether the litter box in question was provided by the school, or by the student, or by someone else.

Details must include (1) naming a specific school (vs just a town/city or school district) and (2) date range of no more than 3 months in which the accommodation of a litter box was allowed.

I am sending details of this Manifold Market to the Don Bolduc campaign (donbolduc.com) today with a request for a response. Updates on communications will be provided in the comments at least daily until close.

This market closes on Nov 8th and will resolve based solely on whether or not there is a response meeting the two criteria described above.

Additionally, as an incentive to encourage a direct response if such evidence actually exisits, I will commit to a $1000 USD personal donation to the Don Bolduc election campaign if they provide verifiable or strong evidence by the end of November.

Wikipedia:

The litter boxes in schools hoax is an urban myth in North America that has been promoted by various conservative and far-right[1][2] media outlets and personalities,[3][4] stating that some schools were providing litter boxes in bathrooms to students who identified as cats or furries, in response to several school districts enacting protections for transgender students.[5][6] The sharing of such claims often begins as gossip or the relaying of a second-hand report without any supporting evidence.[7][8] Many news outlets, fact-checking websites, and academic researchers have debunked such claims.[9][10][11] Officials for every school named by those promoting the hoax have verified that the accusations are false.[10][12][13]

Per an NPR investigative report, there is one school that does have litter available for students, but it is to be used in case of a long-lasting school lockdown situation so students/teachers are able to go to the bathroom if they need to. That is a far cry from accommodating a student who identifies as a cat.

@Predictor

yes, I saw that and is why I specified "...has been allowed in a public school building to accommodate a student who identifies as a cat."

predicted NO

@JoeBrenton Absolutely, we are on the same page.
