Resolution criteria
The market resolves YES if the next publicly disclosed sale of the AI.com domain occurs for over $70 million. The resolution will be based on official announcements from the domain broker, seller, or buyer confirming the sale price. Note that undisclosed deals may exist but will not be used for resolution. If the domain is not sold again, the market resolves NO.
Background
AI.com was sold in 2025 for $70 million, paid in cryptocurrency, making it more than double the previous record price for a publicly announced domain sale, voice.com, at $30 million in 2019. The buyer is Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, and the previous owner was Arsyan Ismail. AI.com is being developed as an agentic AI platform designed for people with little technical expertise.
Considerations
The domain was listed for sale with a $100 million asking price in March 2025, but sold for $30 million less. Future sales may be influenced by the platform's success or failure, market conditions for AI-related assets, and whether the buyer intends to hold or divest the domain.
