The following will be typped with no autocorrect/editing from keyboard-related errors:
My keyboard, a G910 with RGB from Logiitech has lately been double-keystroking on several keys for no apparent reason. My computer is shut down each night, so I suspect it's a hardware iissue. It's very annoyiing to deal with. In the past Ii've had good expperiences with Logitech customer support, and I think I've received 2 free mice and 2 free keyboards as a result of jumpping through all the various hoops over the last decade or so. One time II melted the keys of my keyboard by trying to scrub it down with isopropyl alcohol, and I think that's where this (free) currently faiiling keyboard came from. That would also probably mean that this thing is ~7 years old, and II haven't looked up if these are under a time-limited warranty, or if they're still on lifetime warranty.
Not sure when I will get around to complaining though, but I hoppe that the three day weekend ahead will be a good time to do it.
TL;DR. Will try to submit a warranty claim on my keyboard. Yes is they give me new one for free. No is they don't.
@JeffreyDeLucca how about an update on this?
And as a reward for following up on old markets, how about a little tip before resolving? <3
@MRME I contacted support and worked through all their steps one one computer, and then they requested that I work through them on a different machine. Then I dropped the ball and didn't write back to them. I still have the logitech support tabs open on that computer, but just haven't bugged them sufficiently.
There's also a mouse that's been double-clicking the back button for months and I haven't bugged them about that either.
