@JamesF Depends on definitions. Tesla doesn't enforce their patents, so many electric vehicles are in one way or another descended from their cars. I don't see a reason why this would not continue in the futue

@ConnorTabarrok This is only for a cybertruck specifically not other Tesla cars so why would cybertrucks specifically be extended or even put on mars

@JamesF my YES position is mostly based on previous Tesla / SpaceX marketing stunts.

SpaceX is likely going to make at least one landing attempt on Mars that doesn't have a high enough chance of success to justify a "real" payload (i.e. a paying customer). Or even if there are real payloads, SpaceX will want to bring even more gear to show how much stuff Starship can land.

So... Cybertruck. Along with some of their humanoid robots. Even if the Mars environment promptly kills them, they'd still be a great "mass simulator" to test their payload deployment elevator.

I'm not sure I'd stake real money on this, but I'll sure bet mana.
