The westbound side of the Washington Bridge that carriers I-195 over the Seekonk River in Rhode Island was abruptly closed in December 2023. As of February 1st 2026, the old bridge has been demolished and a contract has been awarded to build the new bridge by November 2028. This market will resolve "Yes" if the new Washington Bridge is open to traffic at 9am on December 1st, 2028, and "No" otherwise.
