Resolves YES if WHO (world health organisation) declares a public health emergency of international concern in 2026.
The last declaration was in 2024, for a mpox(monkeypox) outbreak
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_health_emergency_of_international_concern
Prior to that there was another declaration for mpox in 2022, and a declaration for covid in 2020.
Any new declarations will be added to the Wikipedia list, which can be used for resolution.
Major media reporting and official statements will also suffice.
For this market, 2026 ends at the same time as Geneva, where the WHO is based. (GMT+1)
