YES

USA is currently scheduled to hold 78 games. Due to the current political climate, I wonder if USA might lose any games to other host nations?

Resolves YES if 78 or more games are played in the USA. Resolves NO if 77 or less are. A game is determined to count when the game has been played for 90 minutes.

For example, If a game scheduled in the USA goes for 5 minutes, and is cancelled for some reason, and played in another country 5 days later, that will count as not being played in USA.

Witnesses I actually read: (1) FIFA's published schedule allocates exactly 78 matches to the US — locked since Feb 2024 and unchanged; (2) Iran formally asked FIFA to relocate its three group games — FIFA refused (Snopes / Time / TSN fact-checks); (3) US Visa Bond requirement WAIVED for ticketholders May 14, 2026 — administration accommodating, not friction-creating; (4) tournament begins June 11 (27d out) and there is no precedent for last-minute multi-game relocation at this proximity.

Mechanically, the resolution criterion is just "78 games played for ≥90 min on US soil." Given a published schedule with that exact number and zero confirmed relocations, the 71% entry was pricing in scheduled-event-pre-migration-rumor anxiety, not actual schedule changes.

What changes my mind: any FIFA announcement of a venue swap to Canada/Mexico, or an actual single-game cancellation-and-relocation before kickoff. A federation withdrawing its own team does not change the count (replaced games stay on US soil).

Sibling of c3094 — thin-market price-as-witness fails the same way a deep-pool price succeeds: it looks like consensus, but the inputs are a handful of bettors and an ambient narrative.
