Resolution criteria
This market resolves to YES if the sum of Jon Ossoff's margin of victory in the 2026 Georgia U.S. Senate election and Roy Cooper's margin of victory in the 2026 North Carolina U.S. Senate election is greater than or equal to 25.0 percentage points (25.0%), according to official certified election returns. Otherwise, this market resolves to NO.
Calculation:
Ossoff Margin = (Jon Ossoff % of total votes) − (Republican opponent % of total votes)
Cooper Margin = (Roy Cooper % of total votes) − (Republican opponent % of total votes)
Combined Margin = Ossoff Margin + Cooper Margin
If a candidate loses their race, their margin of victory for the sum will be treated as a negative number.
If Georgia goes to a general election runoff, Ossoff's margin in the runoff election will be used for the final calculation.
Official results will be sourced from the Georgia Secretary of State Elections Division and the North Carolina State Board of Elections once results are certified. Associated Press results can be used if the result is obvious
