If the VP candidate is selected, will Kamala Harris and her VP candidate win the "home state" of the VP? If the candidate is not selected, it will be resolved "n/a" for that candidate; i will only finally resolve "yes/no" answer on the correct VP candidate. This will be the state where they currently are a politician or reside. For Buttigieg, I went with Michigan (where currently lives...and more interesting than Indiana)

@mods I don't see an option to "n/a" the answers for the ones that are not applicable; can you please help?

Thank you mods!

Pete Buttigieg is from Indiana and has never lived in Michigan

You are right that he is from Indiana, but you are incorrect about never living in Michigan; his house is there and he is a resident of Michigan. So it makes sense as his current home state. As noted in the description, Michigan is also a more interesting option than Indiana.

As Transportation Secretary, he lives in Washington. I didnโ€™t know be changed his residency for political purposes, but he still has never lived there.

Leaving it as Michigan makes sense

He does spend most of his time in d.c., but he has a home in Michigan that he goes to whenever he has the chance ("weekends, days off, holidays," etc) and is considered a resident there.
