I have the wired Corsair HS80's so I can't speak to the bluetooth version, the HS80 MAX, but the wired versions are excellent for the price range and the MAX is currently on a great sale for $80 down from $180(!) on Corsair's website. I saw another comment say o1 recommended the HS70's, I imagine it doesn't have the HS80's distilled in its knowledge base yet.
I'm very impressed by the audio quality of mine. It has a flip up mic, and they're very comfortable. No problems at all after over a year except that my cord is starting to get a little strained.
Now leaving subjective experience, but I did some research on the MAX.
Product claims 65 hour battery life, I would pessimistically expect that to really mean more like 15-ish. As for their connectivity range, officially it's 50ft (~15m), I saw a claim with the MAX specifically that they get full coverage in their house, and another that range was a huge step up with the MAX compared to the wireless. I did see people say the HS80 Wireless (not MAX) had some range issues, while others said it was fine, so while I didn't see any specific complaints against the HS80 MAX's range, with these things I'd guess YMMV. I'd hope the MAX is just linearly better though.
