Gina Carano has sued Disney in the Central District of California for wrongful discharge, refusal to hire, and sex discrimination. She claims that they cut her from the Mandalorian show and passed on her planned spinoff show due to her tweets, which (inter alia) "implied conservatives in the U.S. were being treated like Jewish people in Nazi Germany."

Elon Musk and/or X are providing financial support for the suit:

Carano demands that Disney pay her compensatory and punitive damages, and "reinstate" her.
This question will be resolved YES if the suit is entirely dismissed in 2024, without regard to whether the dismissal is voluntary, with or without prejudice, appealed, or refiled.
Disney has filed its motion to dismiss: https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/24539190/gina-carano-mtd-disney.pdf
Motion denied: https://deadline.com/2024/07/gina-carano-beats-disney-lawsuit-dismissal-1236021090/
The question will remain open as it's still possible the case could be dismissed by the deadline.
